European toy requirements
Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC remains the current toy framework during the transition to Regulation (EU) 2025/2509, which applies from 1 August 2030. Relevant EN 71 sections and product-triggered chemical, electrical or radio requirements are considered when applicable.

US toy requirements
16 CFR Part 1250 incorporates the accepted ASTM F963 toy safety standard. Product age, materials and features determine which sections and other CPSC requirements apply; test evidence is mapped to the exact product before CPC data is prepared for the responsible issuer.

The product decides how far the review goes.
A connected toy with a battery, for example, can bring RED, the EU Batteries Regulation and WEEE into scope alongside toy safety. Getcombra determines the applicable sources for each SKU and market. Registration and take-back duties require separate operational evidence.
UK and Switzerland remain separate review scopes.
The UK source pack accounts for the relevant Great Britain or Northern Ireland route. Swiss requirements are assessed for the Swiss market. A separate EEA pack supports the non-EU EEA route where relevant.
